The app “Rallye Timer” is offered on Google Play under the developer account “t-s.dev”. The controller within the meaning of the GDPR for the app and this website is:

Rallye Timer works entirely locally on your device. The app does not require a user account, contains no advertising and no analytics or tracking services, and does not transmit any personal data to me or to third parties.
Your timers and settings (e.g. times, accent colour, voice, language, vibration) are stored exclusively on your device so that they are retained after you close the app. I have no access to them. You can delete this data at any time by clearing the app data in the Android settings or by uninstalling the app.
If you have enabled Android backup, Android may store these settings in your Google account as part of your device backup. You control this in your device's system settings.
The app uses the following features of your device, exclusively locally:
Download, purchase and payment are handled by Google Play, a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google processes data such as your Google account and your payment information as an independent controller; Google's privacy policy applies: https://policies.google.com/privacy
Through the Google Play Console, I only receive the order information required for processing (e.g. order number, date, price and country), but no payment data. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
If you have consented to sharing usage and diagnostics data in your device settings, Google provides me with aggregated crash and performance statistics for the app, which I cannot attribute to any individual. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a stable app).
If you send me an email, for example to give feedback or to request access to the testing phase, I process your email address and the content of your message in order to handle your request. For the testing phase, I add the Google account address you provide to the tester list in the Google Play Console. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR.
This website is hosted by Vercel Inc. (440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA). When you access the site, Vercel may store technical access data (e.g. IP address, browser type, timestamp) in server logs. This is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure operation).
This website uses Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights, services provided by Vercel Inc. (see address above). These services collect aggregated, anonymised usage data such as page views, referrer sources, device and browser type, and load times (Core Web Vitals). No cookies are set and no IP addresses are stored. Identification of individual persons is not possible. Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in analysing and improving this website).
This website uses fonts from Google Fonts. They are downloaded during the build process and served from this website's own server. No connection to Google servers is made when you visit the website.
The app stores your timers and settings in the app's private storage area, which other apps cannot access. The website is delivered exclusively in encrypted form via HTTPS. I treat data from email enquiries confidentially and do not pass it on to third parties. I do not sell user data.
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing of your personal data, the right to data portability, and the right to object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. To exercise these rights, contact info@rallyetimer.de. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
I will update this privacy policy when the app or website changes, in particular before releasing new features that process additional data (e.g. GPS location).
